2. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the game, including:
- Banner Ads: Displayed at the bottom of the screen during gameplay.
- Rewarded Ads: Optional ads you can choose to watch in exchange for a second chance after a game over.
Google AdMob may collect and process data to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements depending on your tracking preferences and platform settings. This includes device identifiers, IP address, ad interaction data, and usage information.
For more information on how Google collects and uses data, please refer to:
3. Platform Specific Measurement (iOS only)
On iOS, GapTap uses Apple's SKAdNetwork framework to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns in a privacy-preserving manner. This provides aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data to ad networks without revealing your personal information.
4. User Control & Tracking Preferences
You have control over how your data is used for advertising purposes:
4.1 iOS (App Tracking Transparency)
On iOS 14.5 and later, GapTap requests your permission through the ATT framework. You can change your tracking preference at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
4.2 Android (Advertising ID)
On Android, you can reset your advertising identifier or opt-out of personalized ads by going to Settings > Google > Ads.
4.3 Impacts of Opting Out
- If you deny tracking or opt-out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your activity across other apps and websites.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. However, the following data may be shared with third parties through the advertising services described above:
| Data Type | Shared With | Purpose |
